INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC TEACHER

Instrumental Music Teacher
Part-Time, 2019-2020 School Year

Bishop Hartley, located at 1285 Zettler Rd., Columbus, is hiring a part-time Instrumental Music teacher for the 2019-2020 school year.

Requirements:

  • Hold an appropriate Ohio teaching license
  • Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
  • Have attended or be willing to attend a VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children Safe Environment seminar
  • Complete the teaching application for the Diocese of Columbus

Bishop Hartley is a co-ed Catholic high school in the Diocese of Columbus. Hartley has traditionally served families of racial and economic diversity and our students come from the neighborhoods of central, south, southeast, east and northeast Columbus and the adjacent suburbs.   Last June, our 140 graduating seniors earned over $16 million in academic college scholarships (this does not include athletic scholarships or financial aid).

RELIGION TEACHER

Religion Teacher
Full Time, 2019-2020 School Year
Must be Catholic

Bishop Hartley, located at 1285 Zettler Rd., Columbus, is hiring a full-time Religion teacher for the 2019-2020 school year.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have earned a bachelor’s degree with at least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in theology, religious education, or religious studies.
  • This course work must include hours in each of the following areas:  scripture, systematics, historical, moral and liturgical theology.
  • Candidates must also have taken an accredited course in secondary instructional methods and have successfully completed one quarter of student teaching.
  • Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks

  • Complete the teaching application for the Diocese of Columbus
