TUITION RATES, ASSISTANCE, & SCHOLARSHIPS

Bishop Hartley High School has a long tradition of working with families to help them achieve their dream of the Hawk Experience. Each year Bishop Hartley sets aside funds to assist families with this Catholic education in the form of tuition assistance.

There are options for tuition reduction at Bishop Hartley; our merit-based Scholarship Program, our need-based Tuition Assistance Program, and EdChoice.

*The student life fee allows Hartley students to attend ALL school retreats, athletic events and performing arts programs—as well as participate in the House System and use student technology—helping build the school's sense of community and encouraging the support of fellow students in their activities.

TUITION ASSISTANCE

Our need-based Tuition Assistance Program is available to all Hartley families. Applications are online through FACTS and are available beginning January 1. The deadline for applications is March 15.  The application and all supporting documents must be submitted by this deadline.

Both the Diocese of Columbus and Bishop Hartley High School use this application toward tuition assistance funds. Please note that a child must be enrolled at Bishop Hartley in order to receive tuition assistance. While the need is always greater than the available funds, we try to help as many families as possible.

EDCHOICE

The Ohio Educational Choice (EdChoice) Scholarship Program provides students throughout the State of Ohio the opportunity to attend participating private schools for little or no cost. Enacted in 2005 to serve families living in underperforming school districts, the program has since expanded to provide increased opportunities to all Ohio families with scholarships up to $6,165 for K-8 and $8,407 for grades 9-12.

Due to the recent changes in the state's biennial budget, families 450% or below of the Federal Poverty Guideline are eligible for the full EdChoice scholarship amount. Families above 450% will be eligible for a portion of the scholarship, dependent on their income and family size.
