While examining the amazing Creation God made through laboratory investigations, the Science Department is committed to teaching students how to become passionate about learning, solve real-world problems, and fortify the habits and skills that will make them successful in life.
The Bishop Hartley Science Wing contains five modern, fully-equipped science labs plus one lecture hall. Graduates are currently studying sciences such as Biochemistry, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering. Recent grads received scholarships to study science at The Ohio State University, University of Notre Dame, University of Pennsylvania, Denison University, Ohio University, University of Cincinnati, Case Western Reserve University, and Purdue.

Mr. Nate Trimner, M.Ed.
Nathan Trimner is the Science Department Team Leader and has been teaching science at Bishop Hartley since 2004. He is a "double domer" with a Master's of Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame.
