WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT HARTLEY
I love that Hartley is family oriented and very accepting of people. I feel that every member of our staff and student body is included somewhere in our community, and I really appreciate that!
WHERE YOU CAN FIND ME
At Hartley, I’m a football and basketball cheerleader. I’m also a member of Diversity Club, National Honor Society, and the Ambassador Program.
ABOUT MY HOUSE
I haven’t experienced what it truly means to be a part of Aquinas because I recently transferred houses; however, I believe Aquinas is very inclusive and strives to have everyone involved! Everyone in the house seems to be connected with one another!
FUN FACTS ABOUT ME
I skipped fifth grade! I am also an activist for women’s rights and people of color.
WHERE I'VE BEEN & WHERE I'M GOING
Before Bishop Hartley, I attended CM Grant Leadership Academy in kindergarten, A+ Arts Academy in 1st and 2nd grade, and All Saints Academy from 3rd to 8th grade.
After graduating, I plan on hopefully attending The Ohio State University and majoring in Biomedical Science. I then want to continue my studies in medicine to become a general surgeon that specializes in trauma.
A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS
My two favorite teachers are Mr. Trimner and Ms. Brochowski!
My favorite class I’ve taken at Hartley was Honors Algebra II/Trigonometry with Mr. Kowalski.
I don’t usually eat school lunch, but I love the double chocolate chip cookies the cafeteria staff makes!
WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS YEAR
I’m excited to experience “normal” activities as a senior! There were many things that were cancelled the past two years due to the pandemic, but thankfully people will be able to participate in these events again this school year!
MY FAVORITE QUOTES
“Authenticity over approval.”
"Stop worrying about who you’re supposed to be, and just be.”
"Spread love everywhere you go; let no one come to you without leaving happier.”
