Technology
The use of technology at Bishop Hartley has been nationally recognized for the past six years. In-depth case studies by Microsoft [MS Case Study] and Hewlett-Packard [HP Case Study] are just two of the many works that have been published on the technology experience at Hartley.  The 1:1 tablet PC program for juniors and seniors, SMART boards in every room, high speed wireless throughout the building, mobile computer carts for underclassmen, and digital music and video studios are just a few of the "cutting edge" opportunities available at Bishop Hartley.  The media-rich lecture hall is designed for innovative educational options including video-conferencing and distance learning.

Enrollment —
Our 2009-2010 enrollment is 712. The ratio of students to teachers is approximately 18:1. The ratio of students to counselors was approximately 235:1.

Our size is something of value.  "There is remarkable consistency among the research studies that have been reported on school size; smaller is better."  This quote, from a study by Roger Ehrich called The Impact of School Size, emphasizes our focus on maintaining a learning environment that underscores the need children and young adults have for structure, social stability, and community support.
