| Bob Grove The reason that I was drawn to the study of scientific disciplines dates back to my beginnings with Boy Scouting. I was very fortunate in find a Cub Pack and then a Scout Troop that lived the ideals of Scouting. The Troop also believed that Scouting is outing. During some years the troop spent as many as 60 nights under the stars. I always wanted to know how that outdoor world worked and what it was populated with. Because Science is really a process that one goes through to learn something for oneself then the progression to the study of science seemed to be a natural one. | Curt Hansen has been the Government teacher at Bishop Hartley High School for the past 10 years. Prior to becoming a teacher, he was a trial litigator for two of the larger law firms in Ohio. He is a graduate of Cornell University, where he received a BA in Government; the National Law Center at George Washington University, where he received a Juris Doctor Degree; and The Ohio State University, where he received an MA in History. He is married to Janet, a psychologist, and has two children, Casey (age 12) and CJ (age 15). In his off hours, he enjoys biking, running, hiking, and dragging good friends like Bob Grove to the top of mountains across the Northeastern US. True Fact: Mr. Hansen always carries a copy of The U.S. Constitution in his shirt pocket for ready reference. | |||||||||
