Coming Soon! Test your knowledge of our campus with a downloadable quiz. This is your chance to getyour questions answered about Bishop Hartley. Send us a question and yours may be picked to be answered by one of our students.
Answer: The House System will be instituted next school year, 2010-11, and every student at Hartley will be a member of one of six Houses. Those Houses are split into Mentor Groups of 20 students — 5 freshmen, 5 sophomores, 5 juniors, and 5 seniors. This group is led by a faculty or staff member, and students will be with the same Mentor Group throughout all four years at Hartley. Mentor Groups meet everyday, and once a month the whole House meets for a "House Day." On these days, the entire House does an activity together, like a service project or kickball tournament. The House System is a great way to get to know students in different grades, it offers many leadership opportunities, and really builds the family environment that is already present at Bishop Hartley.
