REORGANIZATION FOR 2012-13

This year we are happy to announce a reorganization of our parent-teacher organization, including a new name — House Parent Organization — reflecting its alignment with our House System.

2nd Annual HPO Luncheon & style show

VIEW INVITATION

March 2 is the HPO 22nd Annual Luncheon and Style Show at the Columbus Country Club. The committee is requesting parent donations for the basket raffles. Donations can be any new/unused item, large or small. Gift cards are also welcome! We will be assembling the baskets at the end of February.

Any donations marked "Style Show Donation" can be sent to Hartley with your student and left in the school office for pick up. If you have any questions, please contact Sharon Ryan 751-0389 or Aileen Moran 471-5770.

MISSION STATEMENT

In the belief that an informed and involved community of parents is essential to the academic and social development of every student, the mission of the House Parent Organization (HPO) is to:

encourage every parent’s positive involvement in some aspect of school life;

serve as a vehicle for the coordination and promotion of parent activities;

function as an effective conduit for parents to communicate with the School and the School to communicate with parents;

act as a resource for Bishop Hartley educators, administrators, and trustees;

encourage, explore, and nurture new ideas and opportunities for parent participation focusing on: Faith, Preparation, Community, Service and Spirit;

provide financial support with available funds for activities that encourage new ideas as well as sustain ongoing programs for students, faculty, and staff.
