E-Mail Registration


DIRECTIONS

Welcome to Bishop Hartley's e-mail registration for parents and guardians.  This is a simple and easy procedure.  When properly completed, it will subscribe you to our email list to receive parent newsletters twice monthly and urgent administrative news.  There are two steps which must be completed in order to subscribe:

  1. Enter the required information in the form to the right and press the SUBMIT button.  This will generate a subscription confirmation request that will be sent to your e-mail's inbox.

  2. Reply to this subscription confirmation in your inbox.  There will be a link to click on.  This confirms the ability for us to reach your e-mail and adds you as a subscriber.  Failure to complete this step means you have not subscribed completely.  Depending upon internet traffic and the routings the e-mail must travel, this can appear instantaneously or within a few hours.


SPECIAL NOTES

  • We kindly request that you register no more than two email addresses per household. 
  • If you are already a Bishop Hartley parent with a registered email, and you have another student entering school for 2012-13 that you would like added to your registration, simply email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the information and we will add your son or daughter to your existing profile. Once a student graduates, we no longer send email notifications, therefore, in order to continue to receive emails once your eldest student graduates, you must email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the younger siblings name so we know to continue to email you.


WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I DO NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION MESSAGE IN MY INBOX?

  1. Check your e-mail's SPAM or Junk Folder.  The message will be sent from Bishop Hartley High School with e-mail address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .  The subject will read "Confirm Your Email Subscription to Bishop Hartley".  Set your SPAM or junk folder to accept our mail.
  2. If it is not in your SPAM or junk folder, email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.   We can check to see if the e-mail address is correct and see a history of activity for the address.
  3. We are using a marketing communication tool called IContact to manage this email and mailing effort.  Advice from IContact:
Most email servers can whitelist by domain. The domains that need to be whitelisted to better ensure deliverability are:

    icpbounce.com
    icontact.com
    app.icontact.com
    Having these domains as trusted senders will help you receive your emails.

  4. Register an alternate email that is personal, if all else fails.  There are a number of good, free email providers available.
